Physician EPIC

The implementation of the Epic electronic health records (EHR) throughout Lee Memorial Health System ushered in a more streamlined, safer and more effective care delivery model. The Epic EHR system is in use in all Lee Memorial Health System hospitals and most Lee Physician Group offices. With Epic, physicians have the ability to manage and document on the patient’s chart electronically as well as access to real-time documentation of tests, diagnoses and notes. Additionally, patients are able to access their own medical record through a secure online portal, called MyChart®

ICD-10 Required Provider Training 2015

The MECs have approved the ICD-10 mandatory education requirement for all credentialed providers actively providing care in a LMHS facility. ICD-10 is a significant hurdle for the healthcare industry with different implications for the Ambulatory and Inpatient settings. To prepare for the change, LMHS is providing free ICD-10 education for all active credentialed providers. On-line training can be accessed from any computer, laptop or tablet with an Internet connection from the following website: www.healthstream.com/hlc/lee . You will use your 5 digit Provider # i.e. - 01234 for both your ID and Password for the training.

All training completed last year will be honored but we encourage you to repeat the training as a refresher.
