9th Annual Ryan McCleskey Redfish Challenge

A challenge for a great cause -
to build awareness of Lee Memorial Health System's Foundation and to
assist the children of Southwest Florida in their personal battles with

Lee County Fire Marshal's and Inspector's Association Charity Golf
Tournament
May 25, 2013
The Lee County Fire Marshal's and Inspector's Association (LCFMIA) will host a fun, festive
charity golf tournament on Saturday, May 25th at the Crown Colony Golf and
Country Club in Fort Myers. A portion of the proceeds from the tournament
will benefit the Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida. The
tournament will be open to the general public. The cost to
participate is $120 per player, which includes a breakfast reception, cart and
greens fees, catered buffet lunch, complimentary gifts for all players,
Hole-In-One and other competitions and prizes, and of course golf on one of
South Florida's most beautiful courses. The breakfast reception starts at
7:30 a.m., and the Shotgun tournament kicks off at 8:30 a.m. For more

The Fort Myers Miracle will
be hosting the 4th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night this summer to support
Lee Memorial Health System's Regional Cancer Center. In addition to the game,
the Miracle will host a silent auction to help raise funds for the mammogram

Florida Everblades Team will make a very special
appearance to the Southwest Florida Community at The Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa
in Bonita Springs, Florida.
The event features a
full hot breakfast, a meet and greet autograph session with the Florida
Everblades and the opportunity to bid on some of the most exclusive

Local child models will take the runway to delight in historical clothing, from
daywear to sleepwear to special occasion clothing, that resembles what the

Hooter to Hooters Half Marathon

begins at Hooters on Cleveland Ave. proceeds down Colonial onto
McGregor Blvd. through the beautiful neighborhoods along the
Caloosahatchee River, then continues through the downtown River
District over the Edison Bridge and back. It then proceeds to
the World Series Champion Boston Red Sox spring training
stadium, City of Palms Park and then continues south to the
Edison Mall and to Hooters. Part of the race proceeds will be
