Together we pledged over $82,000 to the RX Games in 2012!

 

Mission In Motion was created several years ago through the encouragement of employees wanting to help others within the System. Starting in the summer of 2011, Mission in Motion took on a new look, in the form of the RX Games.

 

The RX Games was created to add an exciting component to our annual fund drive, transforming it into a FUN-raising drive. All you have to do to get in the game is make a pledge today! For more information on RX Games, click here.

 

Here at Lee Memorial Health System, we are much more than a health system − we are caring people, caring for people.

 

Is your department in need of funding? Is there a seminar that you would like to attend?

Over the years, All in the Family, Friends of Nursing, Staff Education and Area of Greatest Need funds have all been created through employee requests and leadership.

All dollars collected during RX Games are used for health system enhancements such as educational materials, conferences or classes, non-budgeted equipment and other items that benefit staff and patients. LMHS team members also decide how funds are distributed.

There's no place like LMHS! The generous support given to the All in the Family fund has allowed the purchase of varied items ranging from laboratory microscopes, over the door isolation boxes for patient and staff safety to a refrigerator and microwave for staff lunches.

Funds from Staff Education have helped provide various staff educational seminars including a conference on Health Information Management, Sick Kids Pediatric Conference and other worthy educational causes. We continue to build on our Mission.

Friends of Nursing has been allocated to provide ongoing education for LMHS nurses in various departments that will ultimately affect patients and the way we provide care. From the old to the young, our patients benefit from our expertise.

This is just a small sampling of the amazing impact our Mission In Motion campaign has had on our health system. Can you feel it? It's you, it's me. Together we are making a difference.
