Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is a 98-bed facility that opened in
1994.
The Children's Hospital, which is
located within HealthPark Medical Center, is the only accredited
children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. The Children's
Hospital is home to the region's only Neonatal intensive Care Unit (NICU).
The hospital provides vital
health care for children from infancy through age 18.
The Children's Hospital
employs more than 300 individuals, has a medical staff of more
than 1,000 physicians and has a team of more than 1,000
volunteers.

seeing all his 'friends' at the hospital - all the doctors and
nurses and other staff who treat him with such great care. You can
tell that they care and they are there to help you in any way they
can. You can totally see their passion to help the kids. It's
amazing the amount of time they spend, even staying after hours for
meetings with families, to get the job done right," says
Jennifer Hoover, whose son, Ethan, receives treatment at Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida for his acute lymphoblastic
leukemia.
