Breast CARE Program

Generous grant support in the amount of $199,012.28 from Susan G. Komen for the Cure Southwest Florida allows Lee Memorial Health System’s Regional Cancer Center to sponsor the successful Breast CARE (Cancer Assistance Resource Expansion) Program.

Thanks to the generosity of Susan G. Komen for the Cure Southwest Florida, eligible under/uninsured, low income Lee, Collier and Hendry county residents with breast cancer may receive lifesaving services such diagnostic and staging procedures, treatment, genetic screening, stipends, psychosocial support, education and navigation.

Services are provided by a trained Breast Health Navigator who supports patients through all steps of diagnosis and treatment. The program is unique in Southwest Florida.
