The Regional Cancer Center is located at 8931 Colonial Center Drive,
near Colonial and I-75. The Center opened on October 20, 2008.
|
Services at the Regional Cancer Center
include the outpatient infusion center, laboratory drawing station, gift shop, a
cafe, a meditation area, massage therapy and a healing garden. Other
services include PET
scan and physican practices, including Florida Cancer
Specialists, Florida Gynecologic Oncology and Lee Memorial Health System physician
offices.

We understand that facing a diagnosis of cancer can be overwhelming, confusing,
and often leaves patients and families feeling helpless and unsure of how to
deal with such a crisis. It is comforting to know that if you, or someone you
care about is diagnosed with cancer, you have a state-of-the-art cancer center,
a service of Lee Memorial Health System, right here in your own community. |

For more than 25 years, we have been providing patient-centered, comprehensive
cancer care and education to the people of Southwest Florida. The Regional
Cancer Center has received Accreditation with Commendation from the American
College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
We are proud to offer a full range of
support services, some of which are unique to
the Regional Cancer Center, including
Genetic Counseling,
a Head and Neck Clinic,
Cookie's Place Boutique, and massage

Annual Report
This past year marked our
fourth year of
operations in the Regional Cancer Center located at I-75 and Colonial Boulevard. Having most of the providers of
cancer care and support in one facility has proven to be even more collaborative
than expected. According to the National Cancer Institute's Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results, patients treated at Lee Memorial
Health System have an overall five-year survival rate that reflects the national average of 65
