The
mission of Regional Cancer Center is to
provide  compassionate and leading edge cancer care for
adults and
children residing in Southwest Florida, in cooperation with the private
practice of medicine. As a community cancer program, our services are
first and foremost patient- and family-centered.
We believe that all patients are entitled to cancer care that fosters respect,
compassion and the delivery of safe, evidence based care. Our leadership
is committed to creating an environment that fosters patient- and family-centered
care.
Services are:

Outpatient Chemotherapy/Therapeutic Infusion Center
|
The Regional Cancer Center provides therapeutic infusions and symptom management
to adult oncology and non-oncology patients. The center provides care to
individuals who may require chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood/platelet
transfusions, iron therapy, injections, therapeutic infusions and diagnostic
blood tests. |

Hours:
Monday-Friday: 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Saturdays:
8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Adult Oncology
Inpatient Units at
Lee Memorial Hospital and Cape Coral Hospital

The inpatient oncology units are specifically designed for the care
and treatment of the cancer patient. The patient population consists
of medical and surgical oncology patients as well as those with
hematology/blood disorders.

All of the resources necessary to compassionately care for these patients and
their families are available through the Regional Cancer Center. The oncology
staff are certified in chemotherapy through the Oncology Nursing Society and the
majority of our nurses have received Oncology Certified Nurse
certification.

Rehabilitation Hospital
The Rehabilitation Hospital is a 60-bed comprehensive
inpatient rehabilitation facility located within Lee Memorial Hospital. Patients requiring assistance in regaining their ability to perform
activities of daily living often benefit from a short stay in
