About one day after your insurance company, Medicare or Medicaid pays us for covered care on your behalf, you will be sent your patient bill. This bill will show any payments we have received from your insurance company, Medicare or Medicaid, and those payments will be deducted from your account balance. The bill also shows your portion of your account balance and includes instructions to submit payment online or by mail. You may receive two more bills from us every two to four weeks until your account is paid or payment arrangements have been made. Click here to see an example.
If you believe the charges are incorrect or you will have difficulty paying your balance, contact us immediately. We will work with you to resubmit claims to your insurer, if needed, and to help make paying for your care more manageable in any way we can.
